I built a working scale model of “Constellation of Departure” for prototyping and exhibition purposes. It is very detailed 1/50 scale and has 300 LEDs. The system consists of one master board and 15 slave boards. Each board is controlled by PSoC CY8C29466 micro-controller and communicates over I2C bus. User can control the displayed image and scroll speed. This model was built in collaboration with Yasuhiro Suzuki, Tomohiro Iida and interns.
